This cycle shelter at the newly opened Cambridge North railway station accommodates 196 high performing 250 Wp panels in the roof.

Objective:

To supply and electrical commissioning only for a building integrated solar photovoltaic glazed roofing system on a newly constructed bicycle shelter at the new Cambridge North railway station interchange.

Result:

Polysolar worked with the customer's selected contractors to supply and commission a 49 kWp BIPV cycle shelter. This cycle shelter accommodates 196, 250 Wp panels in the roof of the cycle shelter and is estimated to generate 10% of the station's power requirements.
